Karen Gauthier has been an elementary school teacher for over twenty years. Currently she teaches at Chaparral Elementary School in Ladera Ranch and is an adjunct professor at Pepperdine Graduate School of Education in Irvine. She holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Early Childhood Development, and has the prestigious recognition of being a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. Her classroom has been a demonstration site for programs funded through the Orange County Department of Education.

Karen and her husband Matt have three children: Chase, Trevor, and Alea. Her oldest son, Chase, began playing in LFL in 2008.

Last year Karen developed the LFL coach’s survey. Throughout this season she will be contributing stories from the perspective of a child development expert along with being a mom of a player in the league.

Todd Norman received his Master’s degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Todd founded Cutting Edge Sports Training in December 2000 with the goal of providing a unique environment where athletes can develop and maximize all aspects of sport performance. Through his advanced education, professional experience, and extensive background as a competitive athlete, Todd is commited to providing opportunity to athletes of all sports and levels to maximize their potential.

He has spent several years developing and managing specialized programs for thousands of athletes and works daily to keep abreast on the most current research and information in the field of exercise science.

Todd is a powerful motivator, a strong leader, and a passionate trainer who thrives on helping others achieve their goals.

Staff

Bill O’Hair, Commissioner, lives in Ladera Ranch, CA with his lovely wife JoAnn and their two children; Shannon and Mitchell. He previously worked in the retail and financial services sectors and is a retired CHP Officer after an eleven-year career serving the communities of South Los Angeles and Santa Ana.

Limecat, Admin, is an infamous internet meme whose lime hat has the uncanny look of a football helmet. Often accused of being a ‘sour puss’ he does the work of managing the website, running the League’s Office and answering League questions.

His favorite NFL teams are the Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals and the Detroit Lions. Don’t even get him started about the Miami Dolphins – Dolphin swim just like fish and Limecat Loves Fish!
