League Story

It started out simply enough. A dad, his young son and the sport they loved.

From this modest beginning the Ladera Football League was conceived. Founded in 2006, the League now has 540 players from the communities of Ladera Ranch, Coto de Caza, Dove Canyon and Las Flores as well as the cities of Rancho Santa Margarita, Mission Viejo and San Juan Capistrano.

The League uses the NFL FLAG Program that promotes a fast-paced, skill-based and non-contact flag football experience for players ages 5 to 14. ’Competitive Fun For Everyone!’ is our motto and our players, coaches, team moms and parents embrace it.
