Officials

Thank you for your interest in officiating this season. It is a great opportunity to gain experience in a leadership role in a fun and exciting environment.

Overview

Officials work in pairs with League oversight. Typically, Freshman and Sophomore grade officials call the early games which are primarily the younger divisions and Junior and Senior officials call the later games which are the older divisions.

Officials will receive training and will be compensated at a rate of $10 dollars per hour/game. Besides games, there will be additional opportunities to work League activities.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be;

• Dependable, responsible, respectful and mature.
• Able to work with both adults, peers and younger kids.
• Ready to begin scheduled shift on time.
• Properly outfitted with League provided official’s jersey, shorts, hat, whistle, flag and down marker.
• Personally supplied digital watch capable of timing, black sport shoes and short socks.
• Understand the rules and be capable of enforcing them as well.
